On December 13th, a 1.75 million-kilowatt EPR unit developed by DEC, the largest of its kind in the world, was put into operation at Taishan Nuclear Power Plant.
On October 17th, DEC obtained the first 10MW class offshore wind turbine design certificate in China.
On February 28th, The hydrogen fuel cell buses with independent intellectual property were put into service. DEC created the overall design scheme for hydrogen fuel cell system for decentralized power generation with independent intellectual property.
On January 8th, "DEC 600MW Supercritical CFB boiler Technology Development, Research and Engineering Demonstration" won the first prize in the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
Year 2017
On October 17th, research and development on the steam generator of the first demonstration generating unit of Hualong No. 1, China's third generation nuclear power technology with completely independent intellectual property rights, has been completed.
Year 2016
On December 17th, Ethiopia GIBE III Hydropower Station, the largest hydropower station under construction in Africa undertaken by DEC, was put into operation.
On November 18th, all 22 units provided by DEC for Jirau Hydropower Station in Brazil were successfully put into operation and handed over to the owner.
On September 20th, Stanari Power Plant in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the first such plant built by DEC in Europe, was officially completed.
On January 22, the Vietnam Duyen Hai phase 1 coal-fired power station project 2×622MW, constructed under the EPC mode by DEC, has been handed over to the owner successfully.
Year 2015
On February 9th, the first 1050MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired unit independently developed by DEC was successfully put into operation in Shenhua Wanzhou Power Plant.
Year 2014
On June 12th, the 2 × 300 MW thermal power project of Vietnam Haiphong Phase II undertaken by DEC was successfully handed over to the owner.
On February 18, DEC signed a contract with Skellefte? Kraft of Sweden for the supply and installation of wind power equipment. It marks the first time that wind power equipment designed and manufactured by Chinese companies has been exported to Swedish.
Year 2013
In July, Xiluodu hydropower units developed by DEC, with a single unit capacity of 770 MW, achieved the goal of "two operations of mega-unit in one month" for the first time.
On April 14th, the world's first 600MW supercritical circulating fluid bed boiler developed by DEC was also put into commercial operation in Baima Power Plant.
