The Buka solar PV plant, undertaken by DEC, has achieved full-capacity grid connection on its first attempt.
Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate over 500 million kWh of electricity annually, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 440,000 tonnes each year. It will help ease power shortages in the Tashkent region and advance Uzbekistan's green transition.
